dj/steel drums

I am looking to book a dj for our wedding and I'm interested in having a calypso style performance at my cocktail hour. The cocktail hour begins at 7:00 pm and the reception is 4 hours. My wedding is on Thursday July 19th in Sayville, NY.
Thanks!

Dear Future Bride,
Check your forum email for specific information on the Steel Drums and the DJ.

The Steel Drums consist of fantastic performers. These are authentic performers from Trinidad and Jamaica -dressed in Caribbean Attire. They toured with The Mighty Sparrow, Greg Allman, Doobie Brothers, Kool and The Gang and Cher.

You can have up to 5 performers .Minimum of two performers. The steel drums are large and have to be trucked in. They can be seen at

My concept of a wedding is described by three words:

ELEGANCE-SOPHISTICATION-SATISFACTION

I provide an extremely personalized and detailed service. My policy is to eliminate all the stress and worry and to help you, guide you, and work with you, to enable you to fulfill your dreams of a care free magical wedding.

Brides and grooms who are looking to make a statement with their wedding and seek a very personalized service for their reception, elegantly customized to their wishes are recommended for my services.

I have a multi page questionnaire that covers every announcement, ceremony, music to be played as well as music to be avoided. Every aspect of the wedding is according to your wishes. Tuxedo attire.

I am a member of the National Association of Bridal Consultants. I give seminars to bridal consultants and brides and grooms on how to eliminate stress for a bride and groom and how to run a successful, elegant and problem free wedding reception. This is all part of my service to you.

At the end of the reception every age group should be able to say 'the DJ played my kind of music' and the bride and groom should say 'I had a great time and worried about nothing but enjoying myself'.

The success of a wedding is in direct proportion to the amount of preparation and care taken by the bride and groom and myself - as well as the availability of myself, my suggestions, planning and assistance whenever needed by the bride and groom.

This is right up our alley.
Most of the gigs we do, during the summer are either a Hampon waterfront estate or a waterfront catering facility like Atlantica.
