Engaged with FH overseas(Marine Corps)= need help planning
I am engaged to a Marine who is currently overseas in Japan as of right now. Not to sure when/if he will deploy to Iraq at this time.
However, I am here on LI trying to plan a wedding by myself. It is hard when he is across the country and 13 hours ahead of us. Plus we are paying for this wedding ourselves.
Thankfully my fiance was home for a month before he left for Japan and we did a lot of planning. And fortunately we have some kind grateful people in the wedding business that gave us reduced rates because my fiance is fighting for our freedom.
Are there any vendors that are willing to provide a reduced rate in their services due to my fiance being in the military? I did not think it would hurt to ask.
Also, the planning is hard...and I always wanted a DOC. However I don't know if our budget allows for it. But I would love to know some qoutes ofr a DOC just incase. Thank you if you are able to provide me with some information....THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!
