Engagement Party- Professional Photography

I am having an engagement party in November 2009, and am considering having professional pictures taken for the engagement party, before the engagement party or the week before the engagement party. I would like some information about pricing/packages for such an event, whether it should be for an hour or two.

Also, my fiance and I love our cars, his being a 2008 Mustang, mine being a 2010 Camaro, and we both thought it would be awesome to have pictures taken at a beach in Southampton (where we both used to live) and do something cute and sexy with our cars...Any ideas, please let me know! Thanks!
