Farmers Almanac - How accurate is that for predicting weather??
Hi Everyone - Does anyone know how accurate the farmers almanac is for predicting weather? I am considering booking a place with a nice outdoor area for Friday June 30th 2006. I just looked at the Farmers' Almanac for 2006 and it says 'June 25-30 - t-storms and then cool' I hope they are wrong, but I have no idea. As an aside, they have been correct for their weather predictions over the last 3 days, but not for today. Their predictions for Dec 1-4 2005 say cold & sunny (which has been true for the 1-3, but today the 4th is snowy - at least in NY). Would you altar your planned date based on the farmers' almanac?? Let me know what you think. Thanks! - Laura

Weathermen cant seem to get a 5 day forecast right most of the time. I have no idea how the farmers almanac predicts months and months in advance.
If you like your hall and its perfect for you then book it. I wouldnt plan my wedding around weather based on the almanac's predictions.
I got married in May 04 and the weather was sunny and hot. Yet while taking pictures outside the sky got black and we had a passing shower (although we were done by the time it started to drizzle) but the shower wasnt predicted. so you never know...
