Are roses more expensive in January? I am starting to think about flowers for my bouquets and centerpieces and I am on a pretty limited budget. Any advice?

Re: Flowers in January
Thanks for the info. I didn't even think about Valentine's. I was worried about Christmas arrangements depleting the supply.

Re: Flowers in January
roses actually start going up in price around christmas expecially red and white by the end of jan prices are though the roof but there are alot of flowers avaiable what about tulips the spring flowers are already starting to come in in january did you have a particular color in mind? i think most people think roses first just because they don't know what is avaliable to them look though you brides magazines and pick out things that you like then go visit you local florist or one that has been recommended to you most will be glad to set up and appointment and go over you options call i'll be more than happy to help you heather

Re: Flowers in January
I really like tulips but I thought since they are more of a spring flower the prices would be astronomical! Are they in-season in January? My date is Jan 3, 2004.
