I know October is hurricane season, we don't want to go to Hawaii, have been there already and don't want all that flying time, also know Aruba is the best but want to try something new. I have heard St. Lucia is nice and and also Acupulco, that they are safe bets weather wise during that time. Anyone ever been, comments?? thanks!

My husband and I went on a terrific southern caribbean cruise and generaly speaking we were below the major part of the hurrican belt. If the weather is really bad at the resort you've booked you basically just sit and watch the rain, with a crusie the Captain just goes somewhere else! You can visit places such as Trinadad and Tobago or Isla Margarita, Curacoa, The Grenadines or maybe St Vincent. All of these are considered southern caribbean and would be less likely to have severe weather in October. If I can help with more info let me know either on the boards or email me [email protected]
