My fiance and I want to go away for 12 nights for our honeymoon to some place exotic and not typical. We want to go somewhere that has a lot of activities during the day and stuff to do at night. We don't want to go anywhere in the Carribbean or Mexico. We have already been there. We have been looking into Fiji, Tahiti and Hawaii. Fiji and Tahiti don't have much to do at night past 7pm. Does anyone have any suggestions on where we can go???? We want to go somewhere exoctic. HELP! Thanks in advance

Re: Honeymoons
Hello June Bride,
I am a honeymoon planner, I offer honeymoons to Tahiti and Fiji, they are very exotic destinations however, they are also low key islands as well, 'no nightlife' The livily destination will be the more populated islands in Hawaii, Mexico or Caribbean. Couples choose Tahiti and Fiji for the 'slow, intimate' atmosphere that it offers.
check it out. www.honeymoonislands.com
Thanks, Teresa

Dear JB21:
Tahiti and Fiji are definitely not places to go if you are looking for an exciting nightlife.
Hawaii is a great choice, as you can either take a Hawaiian cruise (just get on the ship, unpack once, and see all the islands on the ship's itinerary) or Island hop - there are islands that have great nightlife, and islands that are quieter - this way you can have the best of both.
Another popular destination we deal with is Costa del Sol in Spain. There are so many things to do there, and if you haven't heard of Ibiza, it's one of the TOP nightlife destinations in all of Europe.
Another choice is the Greek Islands. Again, some have good nightlife, others are quieter, and the Greek Island cruises are spectacular - then again - so are the cruises to South Pacific, Mediterranean, and Asia.
By the way - we are a full-service travel agency, and more than 50% of our business is Honeymoons. We have 2 CERTIFIED Hawaii Specialists on staff, and are the in-house Travel Agents for Thatched Cottage, Watermill, Huntington Townhouse, Fox Hollow, Westbury Manor, Chateaubriand, and others.
Please give us a call at 631-226-2871 or visit our website at http://www.inandout.us . We'd love to help you plan the honeymoon of your dreams!

Re: Honeymoons
Hi,
My husband and I are going to French Polynesia and the Cook Islands in April. As far as night life we will have more than we can handle on the Tahitian Princess. Between the Bars and Nightclub and the live entertainment we usually go to bed exhausted. We are a bit younger (28) then most of our fellow travel consultants but we are quite passionate about cruises. Being very active we enjoy being able to explore more than one Island or country on a singe vacation. We are both enthusiastic divers and are looking foward to some of the world class diving Bora Bora has to offer. Of course we spend more time above water exploring the natural beauty of the Islands then we do below.
Ours is a 12 night trip that includes air from NY two nights in Tahiti then an awesome cruise on one of Princess Cruises newer ships. This was a great value that includes all meals on board and 24 hour room service as well as all the shows. We took a balcony cabin and the total was @$5500 which is great for a 12 day package in such an exotic part of the world.
I would love to tell you more about it if you are interested give us a call at 1 866 360 0300 or on the web at www.cruiseone.com/ddorr or send us an email at [email protected]
Whatever you decide please have the vacation of your dreams... I recommend at intervals of every six months
Thanks Dawn dorr Cruiseone

Re: Honeymoons
Me and my husband went to Hawaii on our honeymoon and loved it! The big island doesnt have any nightlife at all, but Maui and Honalulu do if that is what you are looking for. The experience, the views, the beaches.....it is just beautiful. Then on the way home we stopped at San Fransciso for a couple of days to break up the flight and that was amazing too!! I do know someone that went to Tahiti and they said it was breathtaking, but, it is a very quiet spot as well. Just thought I would give you my thoughts...let us know what you decided on! Good Luck!
