Is this a typical cake price?

Brand new here, and have a question about the price of my cake. I'm working with my RH recommended baker on an upgrade from the cake that is included in my package.

It will be 4 tier, fondant. It will look something like this but in gold:


I will be supplying the topper. There will also be columns between the 1st and 2nd tiers so that I can fit another topper on it.

They're quoting me $1275 for the upgrade. Does this seem right? It's alot more than I was expecting it to be, but I also have no reference and nothing to compare it to. Just want to make sure they're not overcharging me.
