Limos/florists-how many weddings per day?

Do limo companies take on more than one wedding per day? I also want to know the same thing for florists. I know Verbena Designs does one wedding per day, is that the norm?

I can't speak for limo companies, but florists differ in size, staffing, and capacity. The issue, if you would not mind my reworking it, is not how many weddings one does in one day, but are you confident that the florist can handle the work and deliveries that they do accept.

'Weddings' come in different sizes and two small weddings can still be easier to do than one wedding with forty centerpieces, particularly with a site that has a difficult load-in. The calculation that I think is critical is delivery, transportation and traffic.

It does tend to take a full 'delivery' day if you want your bouquets when you get dressed with the photographer, then have the site setup, and afterwards the reception set up. Especially on Long Island, where sites tend to be far enough away from each other, and multiple events at a church or a hall can cause access delays (not to mention the L.I.E.!!), special care has to be taken to allocate enough time and staff-power to be where they are supposed to be with the truck.

With so much at stake for your day, I would imagine that most smaller specialty wedding florists (like us!) do usually take only one wedding per day, whereas a larger firm may actually have the capacity, staff and trucks to do many.
