makeup not looking good in photos... help!

makeup not looking good in photos... help!

so i had my hair and makeup trial a few weeks ago and that same night, i had my engagement portrait session at sherwood triart. saw the photos today and i look horrible! washed out and like i have no makeup on at all! now i'm freaking out that i will horrible in wedding photos! called the photographer and yes, the pics will be the same on wedding day, regardless of the fact that some will be outside. (will be same camera and lighting they use.) i sent my makeup and hair lady an email and am waiting to hear back.. should i just haev her put more on? get a new makeup artist? anyone have experience with looking washed out in professional photos?? please help! my wedding is in a lil over 3 weeks and i'm freaking out!

Hi! Yes lighting and professional flashes will diminsh the intesity of your makeup look. you need more than u think.

discuss with your current artists first. if you wish to try someone new, we'd be happy to help.
