Marriage Blessing

I'm having my marriage blessed and am supposed to get a special license to do so. Does anyone know what it is called? The town clerk seems to not know either...

Hi:

It is called a 'second' or 'subsequent' license.

I can't believe the clerk said they didn't know what you needed. If I were you I'd call a different town hall because this is VERY common these days.

Just tell the Clerk it is your second ceremony and they'll issue you another license.

If you still have a copy of your original license lines #8 & #18 where it asks what number marriage it is for you will (if you've only been married to each other) say '2 - second ceremony'

I promise it will be nice and easy.
