music help! quick please!

Hi ladies (and gents),

I am getting married in 17 days and I just found out that the orchestra ansemble can't play the song I want to walk down the aisle to! I wanted 'only time' by Enya, but they can't do it. I thought of playing it on CD since I really wanted it, but now I'm thinking I'd rather have them play.

What are you walking down the aisle to? I don't want the typical 'here comes the bride'. Any suggestions?

Kelly

Great suggestions, Michael! Those were my recommendations! If you would like to be different, you can pick a current song or ballad and have them play it instrumental. Why can't they play your songs

Well good luck! Whatever the music, the bride is the most important thing, it will be beautiful!

Dear Kelly,
If you are having a string trio or string quartet -they can definitely play the song. The music is available.
One of my string quartets played 'Only Time',
'A Day Without Rain' and 'Flora's Secret' by Enya at Cure Of Ars Church in Merrick for a wedding ceremony and the bride walked in to 'Only Time'. The music is available in the Enya book 'A DAY WITHOUT RAIN' . They can pick it up at Sam Ash Music for $16.95. It is published by Hal Leonard. Absolutely no reason they cannot play the song. It can also be done if you have harp-flute-cello or
violin-flute-cello.
