natural look in make up
Unfortunately, the photographers who use lots of artificial lighting produce a result that does not look natural without heavy makeup (at least that is why I think that the make up artists apply so much.)
I prefer to use photographic techniques that replicate what you really see onto the picture. That means that I much prefer that the brides wear what they normally do because that is the way they will turn out (light makeup to produce a natural look, not heavy.)
Ask your photographer what is preferred dependent on the style of photography.
