Need a Church near Villa Lombardis Please

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Church near Villa Lombardi's in Holbrook?

FH and I are having a hard time finding a church that can hold 350+ people, because most big churches are Catholic...and we are not. We are, however, Christian (South Indian denomination) and the ceremony must be performed in a Church by our priests. The other difficulty is that our CH starts at 12:30pm, and most churches are not available until 11am.

Good Shepherd had said we can use them, unfortunately, they say our priests have to stand in front of the altar. I feel that is somewhat insulting to our priests, not to mention, they need to use the altar for cultural aspects.

We are 6 months away from the wedding and are very worried at this point. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Re: Need a Church near Villa Lombardis Please

Hi and congratulations,

This is a hard one. If worst comes to worst you could always do 2 ceremonies. The Historical Chapel in Woodbury holds 100 or the little chapel at the Islip Grange holds 60 they say. At least the immediate family could be a part of the one that means the most to you then you could renew at the hall. I had a few couples do that last year.

I wish I could have been more helpful. But I am sure you'll find a way to make it work for you.

Wishing you both many healthy years of love and marriage, of wisdom and wonder.

L&L, Pastor April

Thanks Pastor April. I'm sure it'll all work out in the end, but in the meantime it is quite frustrating.
