I am hoping someone can help me on my photography. I don't have a big budget around $2000 is what I have set aside for it. Is there any photographer that can work with my budget? I prefer color over b & w and I love both photojournalism and traditional posed pictures. I don't need an additional photographer and I would need the photographer for about 8 hours from taking pics at my house till the end of the reception. Any suggestions would help. Thanks in advance.

Re: Need help with photography-small budget
Wedding day photography (without albums) is a possibility. We offer two photographers (main + candid) with 500 proofs starting in your wedding day budget. The other option is an hourly rate, which might make sense since you might be able to get away with coverage of the first hour of the reception (most of the reception can be covered in the first hour.)
Just a couple of possibilities that would allow you to get top photography in a tight budget, so you at least have great pictures available to design the album later.

Thank You for the responses. Would the price make a difference if I just have the photography and later on work on the album? I would like to customize my album and make it more personal to us and our parents as well.

Yes, of course. The albums can only be done after the wedding anyway, so why not use your wedding day budget on wedding day photography?

after the wedding
No offense but i hate that comment from vendors that you can always buy later, I want a house later! and money I may have after the wedding will go toward a down payment, not more pictures! I want to know i have it paid for and not have to worry more. This is why I stayed away from pricey vendors as well.
Im sure you'll find something, just keep looking and try to be strong with your budget and not let vendors push you into something you cant afford or worse.... wont be happy with. There is someone out there who will fit your budget and give you everything you need.

Tarakinspa...
Are you a vendor? I believe your post is misplaced...
