Need ideas for reception location..

Hey all, I have hopes for having my reception in October, an a country-farmish setting. My ideal location would be a nice big old refinished barn type place.... does anybody know a rustic yet classy setting?

Contact PLANTING FIELDS ARBORETUM in Old Brookville. They hold receptions in the Hay Barn. I am playing a wedding there with my band in two weeks. It is quaint and might be just what you are looking for.

The Hay barn looks great, but they are not taking bookings past november 2002 it says because or renovations.

Have you considered some of the Vineyards on the East End? Several of them are in rustic settings and cater to weddings.If you go on line (Google etc) and enter' Long Island Vineyards' you can get a list of places-pictures -prices etc. This might be something to consider.
I can also recommend several elegant private locations if you are interested. I am recommended by several country clubs that accept outside weddings.If you want to email me at [email protected] I will be happy to send you a list of country clubs, phone numbers and managers to contact- places that accept weddings and where you do not have to be a country club member.
