need non-denominational officiant

I'm an out-of-town bride planning to be wed in May near Hewlett. Can anyone recommend a good officiant for some non-religious folks? Also, about how much do they charge?

Hi Rainmama,

I'm not a bride, or even a woman , but I am a wedding officiant, and I'd be glad to talk to you about your wedding plans and needs. You can find me on this site under 'officiants' or go straight to my web site .....

Re: need non-denominational officiant

Hi,
There are several non-denominational and interfaith clergy listed on the LIWeddings site under 'Officiants.'
You will find my webpage there.
I'll be happy to tell you anything you need to know if you'll contact me through my link on that page.
I do many weddings for people from out of the area.

Re: need non-denominational officiant

Hello and congratulations!

Out of town planning can be so stress filled, but choosing well then trusting your instincts is always the best plan of action! There are many good officiants available, but the trick is finding the RIGHT one for you and your beloved. My advice is to make a few calls and see who you hit it off with. Remember that everyone will be nice to you and everyone will do a reasonable job, but we all have our own flavor. Which flavor is the most complementary to the most important day of your life only you will know.

My website has many examples of my writing style and and a huge readings section that may prove helpful. Once again congratulations, and no matter who you eventually choose to perform the ceremony, me it be as magical as you dreamt it to be, with many healthy happy years to follow.

Love and Light,
Rev. April, Pastor CoAW
