Good morning,

I am looking for a reception hall for this summer, a Saturday preferably, between June 21 and August 3. I will not be doing a ceremony onsite. I am hoping to find the following characteristics:

-excellent food
-on or near the ocean or harbor (not a lake)
-in or near a hotel
-one wedding per day
-can accommodate 200 and possibly more guests
-can quote me a price that includes all extras
-kid friendly pricing
-high ceilings
-ballroom with windows and a view
-anywhere on Long Island

Congratulations and thank you for your interest in the Old Field Club. I have provided you with some general information regarding 2013 weddings at our club.

We don’t require a minimum headcount on Friday, Saturday day or Sunday weddings; the cost per person is $120. However, we do require a minimum of 100 guests for a Saturday evening and the cost is $140 per person.

• Our wedding package includes, 5 hour top-shelf open bar, Cocktail Hour including high-end passed hors d’oeuvres, a 3 course dinner experience, as well as a three-tier custom wedding cake.

• If you choose to have your ceremony onsite, you will have the Club for 1 additional hour and the cost is $8 per person. We supply the chairs for the ceremony and provide your guests with light beverages upon arrival before the ceremony.

• The maximum number of guests that our venue can accommodate for a sit down style wedding is 170.

• Please remember to add our 18.5% service charge and 8.625% NYS sales tax to both the price per person for your wedding package and your onsite ceremony.

• This pricing is for our peak season, which is May 1st to October 31st (prices are discounted during the off season).

We offer a cocktail style wedding in which the maximum amount of guests is raised to 250 and the minimum requirement is 75 guests. The cost per person for a cocktail style wedding reception at our venue in 2013 is $105 plus 18.5% service charge and New York State sales tax (8.625%). The event is 4 hours long; included in the package is a 4 hour top shelf open bar, a champagne toast, gourmet cheese board, warm baked brie, antipasto display, tuscan style grilled vegetables, vegetable crudite, pasta station, and carving station in which you may choose the meat, high end passed hors d’oeuvres and your choice of wedding cake or passed mini pastries for dessert.

We also offer a buffet style wedding in which the maximum and minimum amount of guests is the same as for the sit down dinner. The cost per person for a buffet style wedding reception at our venue in 2013 is $105 plus 18.5% service charge and New York State sales tax (8.625%). The event is 4 hours long; included in the package is a 4 hour top shelf open bar, a champagne toast, high end passed hors d’oeuvres, plated salad, the buffet and your choice of wedding cake or passed mini pastries for dessert.

Hi I am new also , I was planning on a quick wedding in july or august any one knows of a place where I can have a ceremony and reception under $5000 for about 200 people or less in nyc ? Please help me out
