I know catering halls discount their per person price for 'off-season' weddings. Do other vendors do this as well? ex: photographers, DJs, florists, limo companys???
What is a tactful way of asking if a vendor will offer a discount?
(I'm not asking for a huge discount but I figured that there aren't a ton of weddings in January and its better for a vendor to have something scheduled rather than no income coming in at all so it would be a win-win situation)
Thanks, M

Re: Off-season discounts
Hi Michelle,
Most vendors should offer a discount depending on the availablity, but, I wouldn't feel shy about asking either. If you have any other questions, give us a call at (631)224-3500.

Hi,
Yes, I think you should ask for something when visiting your vendors. You might not get a discount. But they might throw something in for you.
It never hurts to ask. Considering it's in the DEAD of winter, I would try.
