Out of town bride booking vendors question.
I'm having a May 05 wedding but live out of state. I will be back in nyc on the July 4th weekend. Would this time be too early or late to book my dj, photographer & florist?

Re: Out of town bride booking vendors question.
Hi Caliope,In my opinion it is never too early. You can be too late but not too early!
When my daughter got married we booked everything, florist, limos, dj etc all at least a year to a year and a half early. Then we had time to just site back the last few months and enjoy that time. Even had a few spa days to relax as well. I am all for booking early.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask. We are all here to help! Especially with out of town brides, since we know how difficult it can be when you can't be right here to speak to people face to face and have only a few short days to accomplish a lot.
Good Luck and Happy Planning!
Kathy

I agree with Kathy!Whatever you need ask away.
The only thing I would say is make the appointments ahead of time. 4th of July is now a busy wedding weekend so some vendors might not be available for appointments.
Best Wishes and Happy Planning!

Re: Out of town bride booking vendors question.
My suggestion would be to call the vendors you are interested in now, and ask them what their availability looks like for your wedding date. Back when I was married, I too booked everything early, so I could sit back and 'relax' before the big day. Also, ask the girls on the bride's board for their recommendations for the vendors you are in need of... they'll point you in the right direction. Especially if you are planning this out of state, they can help save you a lot of time and energy.
Good luck to you. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. That's what this forum is for-- we're here to help. Thanks, Laura-- LA Productions [email protected]

Never too early gives you the serentiy that things are under your belt. I just got married a few weeks ago and figured hey I'm in the busines, it's off season I can wait. I drove myself INSANE.Trina
