photo locations - queens

We are doing a winter in NY theme for our wedding. We would like to have some photos taken with the city skyline as the backdrop, but our church and reception are all in Nassau county. Would love any suggestions of anyplace in Queens that we can use to get shots with the city skyline, without having to go too far.

Congratulations on your 'Winter Wedding'!
I lived in Queens and I know many brides that would go to Astoria Park for wedding shots. The best place is under the Hell Gate Bridge and under the Triborough Bridge - both in Astoria Park. It is beautiful especially at night with the skyline and the lights!!! Lots of lovers go there for the view. It is also easy access on and off Grand Central Parkway. Hope this works for you.
