I'm leaning towards an irridescent taffeta dress for the girls in silver (see pic). My concern is that they will look washed out in the pictures. All my girls have dark hair and medium skin tone. Has anyone taken pictures of a bridal party in silver and how did they come out? Thanks!
Basically it will come out like you see it. It will have shadings like the photo you posted. I would just pick a dress you like in the color you like. The only time you really have trouble, that we've found is when you have a very dark plum or navy, that can look like black in dark settings but other than that, it looks like it looks. Hope this helps.

Beautiful!
I also use films that reflect the natural colors of the dresses and flowers. Depends whom you hire and what kind of films and lighting they use.

The color of the dress you show is fine. It will photography exactly like you see it if you hire a professional photographer. It will only look washed out and not the right color if the photographer overexposes the photo. Pick what you like and go with it. It ios a beautifull choice. Dan krieger

Since you are concerned with final results, be specific with your photographer about which film is to be used and why. We use only the most professional, top-of-the-line Kodak film. Many do not (to keep costs down). If the best film is properly exposed (most pros carry and use a light meter) you will see what you expect in the final album photographs.
