Are there any photographers who will give quality service for a small wedding (no bridal party, in backyard)? I really only need the basics.

Sounds like you would be fine with an hourly rate, paying just for a photographer (or two: we have different grades of candid photographers to make the second photographer affordable for your kind of event) and film and processing. Most studios prefer to sell large packages, so make sure they are willing to do an hourly rate. (as, of course, we are; but I'm not going to push myself on this site.)
