Question for Jacqueline Nicole...

Hi-
I had my trial with you today - please read my post on the brides board that I wrote about you!! (I want you to!!).

You had suggested to check out the sonya dakar website which I did. Was it the 'drying potion'' you were referring to for my blemishes? It's a little pricey, but I will try anything!! Can you please let me know if that's what you meant so I can order it? Thanks so much - and thanks again for everything today!! Besides the HORRIBLE oily skin of mine, the makeup itself stayed in place, and I'm thrilled!!

Re: Question for Jacqueline Nicole...

I am speaking of Sonya Dakar's drying potion. It virtually dries blemishes overnight and reduces redness and puffiness. I stumbled upon it about 2 weeks ago and I love it. It is great for all brides to look into to fight their blemishes (as well as clinique's on the spot treatment). I know this potion is a little pricey but, give it a try. It is not meant for all over the skin to remove oil, it is just intended to fight blemishes. The website is www.sonyadakar.com for anyone else who may be interested. I would highly reccomend going to a dermatologist or esthetician to see if you can get your oil down to a minimum. I also reccomend using rice paper to blot for the most part because, if you keep adding powder you will cake too much. Only reset with powder once or twice. My only concern is if you start playing around with too many products prior to your wedding it may play havoc on your skin. Try to contact a dermatologist and get started on a complete program. Please call me for any little bit of advice you may need, I am only a phone call away. I appreciate your kind feedback and for the record you are a beautiful woman regardless of how you may feel. I truly mean it, you looked amazing!!

Sincerely,
Jacqueline Nicole

Re: Question for Jacqueline Nicole...

I believe Estee Lauder, Mary Kay, and even Cover Girl have blotting papers. There is also Oriental Rice papers which you can keep your eye open for in some stores. I would also try Sephora, they have everything!! They are just little thin sheets you dab onto the oily parts of your skin and it removes the oil. Always dab, don't wipe (just a little tip). I hope this helped. Feel free to contact me directly if you need anymore advice. Good luck with everything!!

Sincerely,
Jacqueline Nicole

Are you available 8/24. Thinking of having my make up done. I keep putting it off. My sis said she will help me but I'm thinking of having it done now.

Re: Question for Jacqueline Nicole...

Ladies I am back !!! After a little more research on the oil issue I have learned that Clinique has terrific blotting papers!!! My friend who has oily skin swears by them. If you look in this months edition of In Style magazine starting on page 161 they have a whole article on oily skin and terrific products that will help you control it. They list several blotting papers (where to find them), Clarins Mat express shine gel (wear alone or under make-up to control shine) Maskes, cleansers, prescription gels (Differin gel and retin-a) etc; Pick up this months issue if you have oily skin and try some of these tips. Good luck!!
