How many shots of the bride walking down the aisle would you say is the minimum you take at a wedding?
Basically, I need to know how many proofs of that moment is typically presented to the bride for her to choose for the album?

Re: Question for Photographers
Hi,
Normally I take about 8-12 pictures of the bride coming down the aisle. About 3-4 shots are the bride actually walking down, 2 shots of the groom's expression (usually shot in black & white)seeing his bride for the first time. About 3-5 shots of the groom approaching his bride, and other shots of the crowds expressions.
Remember all weddings are different, I normally don't count my shots, I just take the picture as I see it. Sometimes there can be 20 pictures taken during that time depending upon peoples expressions and actions.
I hope this has helped you, Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Best Regards,

Re: Question for Photographers
I agree with Thom -- very well said. Every wedding is different. If the bride and groom take their time the photographer will get more photos.
When it comes to the album, in my opinion, it's more important to get a few really nice aisle photos rather than a large quantity. I write this because most albums only have a few aisle photos anyway.
I notice you were married in 2003, so I hope your photographer was able to give you what you wanted.
