Question for PHOTOGRAPHERS

Hi.. I live in Brooklyn but my wedding reception is in Long Island. I will be getting married in a Church in Brooklyn. How does this work? If I hire a Long Island photographer, are there any extra fees for travel to Brooklyn?? Many thanks in advance.

We generally consider a 'normal' day to be 8-10 hours. Naturally, it would be appropriate to compensate the photographers for extra time and travel. I've done quite a few where the ceremony was in Staten Island, Manhattan, or Brooklyn and the reception quite a distance away in Nassau County. Since my pricing is the same for everything in one place in Port Jefferson as four locations with travel, consideration for the photographers for a more difficult and longer day would be appreciated.
