Reception - Ceremony Help

I originally thought it would be more cost effective to have my ceremony/reception at my fire department hall. However, after pricing off-premiss caterers, I now know that it may be easier to go to a catering facility.

By the time you factor in the price of food, server fees, linens, and china...its just as expensive as going out.

I don't know where to begin looking, but I know my fiancee and I are on a tight budget.

If any companies out there can FM me with some round about prices for 175 people, I would appreciate it.

Sometimes it's not a matter of yes or no, just how. I'm not sure how much planners cost but if one can save you enough money to pay for herself you may want to consider it.

I FM'd you some other ideas, so keep your chin up, there comes a time in the planning when almost everyone gets discouraged. Once the right option comes along you'll be fine.
