Does anyone know if there's a reception hall that will host a wedding party doing only ceremony and cocktail hour?
Dates are flexible - daytime on a Saturday this summer is preferred.

That's a tough one. You may want to try to find a restaurant that would usually be closed and have them open for a 'private party'
For a hall to agree to what you want they would be locking themselves into a low cost contract removing their opportunity for a full package couple to come along. I don't think this would work for any but the halls that host several events at the same time.
But you never know! It never hurts to go fishing. If you send an email stating what you want sometimes wonderful things come of it!
