Stan Wiest Music ceremony misunderstanding bride pmb
Dear bride pmb,
I only found out yesterday that a misunderstanding issue was not resolved to your satisfaction. I left several messages on your answering service and also want to respond in this forum. I apologize for the delay-again I was not aware that this was not resolved to your satisfaction -until yesterday. Regarding your post to Debbie08 in 'Brides Helping Brides' dated 5/22/02 -the keyboardist for your wedding ceremony music. You called me the day after the ceremony regarding the issue of the keyboardist leaving early and his asking for the payment. I told you I would contact him and get back to you. I immediately called him regarding both issues. He told me that at the conclusion of the ceremony the Matre D' said to him ' the ceremony is over' which he misunderstood to mean he was to stop playing (20 minutes early). Since this was a private ceremony for a small number of guests- and since most brides designate a third party to pay a performer- and since you had left the room -he was not sure who to approach. I asked him to call you immediately and explain his perception and misunderstanding of the situation. When he called me back after speaking with you - he told me he explained everything to you - to your satisfaction- which obviosly was not the case. Satisfying a bride and always resolving any questionable issues is tremendously important to me.The keyboardist thought the issue was resolved and told me there was no need to call you again. I should not have listened to him. I offer you my sincerest apologies for his misconception of the Matre D statement and any concern caused by asking the guests who was responsible for the payment. This never should have happened. I am sending you in the mail a full refund of the entire cost of the ceremony music with the hope that in a small way this will rectify any inconvenience caused and to resolve all the issues to your satisfaction - and show the good intentions of my office. I do not do business by leaving any issue unresolved to a bride's satisfaction. Please accept my sincerest apology for the misunderstanding of the keyboardist . I am enclosing a copy of this email to you with the full refund of the ceremony fee in the mail. I would still like to speak with you on the phone to offer my apology to you personally as well. I should have contacted you directly even after the keyboardist told me the issues were satisifed- to make sure. You were a delight to work with and I hope to have the opportunity to be of service to you in the future. My best wishes to you and your husband.
Yours truly,
Stan Wiest
