Three Village Inn
Any vendors work at this catering hall and if so how accomodating are they?

Re: Three Village Inn
I have been recommended by the Three Village Inn for many years. They are extremely nice people to work with. Dan Laffitte is the Manager and Angelo is the Banquet manager-both very nice and accommodating people. My personal band has played over 100 weddings at the Three Village Inn in the Harborside Room and I have also supplied many DJ's there for weddings as well. Very private and quaint.Overlooks Stony Brook Harbor.I have also provided string quartets and Harp for ceremonies, strolling violins, steel drums and Mariachi for cocktail hours here. Hope this helps. If you need any additional information please feel free to call me at (631) 754-0594 or email me at [email protected]STAN WIEST

Re: Three Village Inn
I agree with Stan, the Three Village Inn is a very quaint establishment and we have worked and been referred there for many years. The only problem we've encountered is the size of the dance floor and room. You can't have more than say 100 people there, tops, or you will be really packed in. Also, the dance floor is small and if your party is really hopping, it can get cramped. The scenery outside and around the Three Village Inn, is indeed beautiful. With both the harbor and the town to take photos in, you won't be disappointed. Food is wonderful. The cocktail hour doesn't offer as much food as some places do and if you are one to want a big spread of food, then you'd have to think about that. They offer like cheese platters, and fruit displays as well as, trayed food, but you have to wait for trays to come to you. There also isn't alot of seating room outside where the cocktail hour is held if your wedding is in say, the spring, summer or fall. But all and all, they do a nice affair.

Re: Three Village Inn
I have also worked with Photography by Verdi many times at the Three Village Inn as well as at other locations- and cannot say enough nice things about them-great photographers to work with. If you have any questions about the Three Village Inn feel free to call me at any time. If there is any aspect that concerns you- contact Dan Laffitte or Angelo - they are great to work with and will do everything in their power to meet your needs. The band area is small and cannot hold more than 6 pieces at the most. I have done many weddings here with 6 pieces and we fit perfectly into the space.Five instrumentalists and one female vocalist works perfectly at The Three Village Inn.

Re: Three Village Inn
Not much to add! I've also worked there for many years and haven't heard any complaints. The Colonial costumes by the staff sure adds to the atmosphere. (My family has had quite a few Thanksgiving dinners there, including this one coming up. My kids even dressed up in authentic costume one year and Jimmy, the owner, asked them to 'work the room'! It was quite a kick.)

Re: Three Village Inn (Stan)
Thanks, Stan for such nice comments. You guys are great too, and nothing but professional anytime we've worked with you. But, you don't need us to say that, your couples say that time and time again. Take care and say hi to the guys in the band for us!

Re: Three Village Inn
One of the important things to consider when you contract your catering hall - try to put together a team of vendors who have worked well together in the past. It eliminates a lot of problems down the road and makes the wedding reception a joy for everyone involved. If I am working with a photographer such as Verdi I never have to worry about where they are when important parts of the wedding occur (toasts, blessings, cake cutting, bride and father dance etc.) It makes my job more enjoyable to work with professionals who know what to do and when to do it. It will definitely take a lot of worry and concern out of your planning.STAN WIEST
