Tipping help!

Could vendors please post what is expected for tipping and include what sort of vendor you are. Also, how does it work if the person is also the owner of the company?

Gina,
In business the best TIP is a recommendation.

However my clients in NYC and the Hamptons have been very genorous by doing both.

It's up to you. I prefer recommendations over TIPS.

How much should we tip our DJ?

Any gratuity or tip you wish to pay your DJ for an outstanding performance is certainly appreciated. The general rule is 10 - 15% based on his performance. Due to accounting purposes, please pay any tip directly to your disc jockey. I aslo do agree with the last post, refferals are
great!
