Trumpets at the church and music during Cocktail Hour

I am having a 2007 wedding, but I am just curious as to how much a trumpet player for the church would be and preferably a mariachi band (or even a violinist) during cocktail hour only. In addition, how far in advance would I have to book? Any price quotas are greatly appreciated.
