wedding coordinator help
Hello,
I'm having trouble getting my Catering Director to return faxes/e-mails/phone calls. He also keeps us waiting at least a half an hour when we have to meet with him, with no explanation or apology. We waited forty-five minutes in a room for our tasting without a word of explanation when he finally came in. We've had some other concerns as well regarding our contract. We've recently received a warning from someone on this website that they worked with the same person and did not have good service the day of their event.
I'm generally laid-back and that may be why we've had problems. We haven't complained about much ...now we may seem to be push-overs and I'm afraid that we'll be taken advantage of. But, we're paying $115++ for a daytime affair and I feel that we should expect good service-not perfect, but good.
Is there anyone out there who has good references who could help me finalize the catering details/contract and coordinate my wedding? The event is the end of July on a Saturday on the North Shore at 12pm.
All of my other vendors are wonderful, I can deal with them. All dresses are ordered, invitations are on the way to me, transportation and rooms are taken care of .... I just need someone to help me make sure that everything runs smoothly on the day of the event. It's a noon wedding, so if I could just have someone I trust there from the morning (I'm not sure what time would be best) through the cake cutting....(perhaps 6 or 7 hours).
Please let me know if you can help or if you know someone who can. Thank you.
