Our wedding is not until two months from now, but we are already receiving wedding gifts. When should we thank these people? I know that some of the gifts we've received are from people who are coming to the wedding, so do I send them a thank you now for the gift and then a thank you after the wedding for coming?

I would send them a note acknowledging the receipt of the gift, as well as thanking them, and include that you both look forward to celebrating with them at the wedding. If you do not send anything, they may not know that the gift was ever received. After the wedding, you could send another card with your photo etc. thanking them for coming.
