Why can't I try the Catering Hall's food before booking?
I just don't understand this. Isn't it called a CATERING HALL for a reason? How could anyone expect you to book them without trying the food. I mean no offense, but I would like to understand the reasoning behind this. That's like buying a car without test-driving it!

You should be able to try the food. And if not complimentary, the hall may charge for a tasting but if you book with them the fee should be deducted from the cost of your wedding. Ask the hall about doing that for you.Rhea of Parties with Rhea

Villa Lombardis wants you to pay for food in their restaurant before letting you try it. So I left .... BUT i can say I've eaten there before and they are delish. My hall actually did a full tasting for 4 and I hadn't even decided to book them. I refused to book without tastings.

Re: Why can't I try the Catering Hall's food before booking?
You should start some sort of thread with the brides. Start with girls that are booked already, and going for their tastings. They can invite interested brides to come with them. This way, you can pretaste! Sounds like a fun thing for the girls on here to do. Make sense?Welcome New Vendors
