will we have enough time

My FH will only be home for a short time over the holidays. So we will not be able to start looking at photographers, video and music until then. When should I make an appointment to come in a see sample works from vendors. Can anyone tell me if they will be having a showcase from 12/18-1/2? I don't necessarily need to book over those dates but I want my FH to have an opportunity to look at the vendors so we can make a mutual decision.

I think you should start making your appointments now for your December visit.

Not many places showcase in the month of December due to the holidays.

Vendors will most likely call or email to confirm your appointment but at least you'll have one.

Yup, Marie is right. Scheduling can be difficult. You should request promotional materials to help economize your appointments. Sometimes those materials are so complete you don't even NEED an appointment. (hint)

You should definitely be setting up the December appointments at this time. A tremendous number of people become engaged at Christmas and many vendors are imeddiately totally booked for appointment times. Christine,

You def want to make your appts now. I wouldnt say its super busy time for appointments, not more than any other time, however I know we usually like to take some days off in December because we are more busy in the evenings due to corporate events during the week.

Basically, If you have some vendors in mind, give them a call, ask for some info via snail mail, and then take it from there. U might want to expedite the process by surfing vendors web sites. Once you get a feel for them, you can go ahead and make the appt. Now is def the time to schedule those for December ! Also FH can surf the sites on his own , this way he can even have input on what vendors are visited !
