XOXO

Re: Video

Not sure if you only want vendor responses but you may want to consider Wild Rose. We booked them and want something similiar (in fact, we are only getting video after several people convinced me we MUST). Marie & Bill are very easy to work with and will do whatever you ask. Their work is simple and so much less cheesy than what I had seen (no animation, no stupid effects, etc..)

If you have any questions - just email me @ [email protected]

Re: Video

Thank you Sonicstef!

We do have a basic package which would cover your ceremony, cocktail & reception.

You can email me for further information at
[email protected], or call (631) 224-7723.

If you take a moment and think about why people get video, you will see how very important it really is. You're making a wise choice!

Good Luck!

Try Steve Taub @ 631-423-4067

or if you REALLY want to keep it simple, you might want to contact a local college or the University and check out their Graduate programs for a student that could give good basic coverage.

I am another Wild Rose bride. You can keep things very simple but I agree that if you don't have one you will miss a lot of your day.

Re: Video

Try Videomaker. I can't say personally how they are because I haven't met with them yet. If you do a search on them, some of the other brides have seen their work and thought it was good. Their price is $875 Complete.
Includes:
Brides house coverage
full coverage of ceremony and reception
Park footage video montage
assistant on every shoot
Two parent copies and raw footage
I copied the above from their brochure.
Good luck!

I will post again on brides board after I meet with them. If you meet with them before I do would you do the same?
Thanks,
Deb

Re: Video

VIP Studios (John Pagano) offers basic video for around $600...they are a vendor on the boards. I am completely in the same boat as you regarding video, and starting to consider it too. I want to see if anyone can be even less....

I am another Wild Rose bride and I cannot say enough good things about them. They are easy to work with, have an elegant style, and really work with you.

I have seen Steven Taub's work and honestly it is not very good. (Sorry Mark) He was a nice guy, but his video didn't look very professiona, IMO. He does not use any sound equipment- so that means you do not hear the vows at all. I would rather spend a bit more and have something I am proud to show my family, and future children.

I have an appointment with Wild Rose tomorrow and can't wait. I've heard so many good things about them.

My FH and I didn't want a video either, but now that I've seen a couple of videos, I really want one.
