What did you find

to be the better d to register for with cutlery - branWusthof-Trident America or Henkels? I'm talking about either knife block set or the knives bought separately. Thanks.

Either one is awesome. We got a Sabatier set, but I have a few Wusthof knives and they are incredible. The Japanese carving knife is awesome.

The wusthof knives are fabulous, but I couldn't see myself spending like 1400-2000 on the block.. =O

We got the Henckels Professional S series and love them! I enjoy cooking even more because of them. We looked at the Wusthof and liked them a lot, but they were so much more expensive than the Henckels and figured no one would get them for us if we put them on our registry (they were between $900-1200 compared to the Henckels we liked which were $300).
