For those of you that did donations

Did anyone one print up something cute like a poem or a few sentences that said you were doing a donation? If so can you please post the wording?

I don't know what happened to me, I used to be so creative with coming up with stuff like that. I can't seem to think of anything

What are you donating to, I am donating to the american cancer society and I got a mold to make chocolates in the shape of the support ribbons.

I did a search for curly2003's wording because I know that she is doing a donation. She made scrolls and here is her wording:

To Our Family and Friends

With much thought and consideration,
we have chosen a special way
to say “Thank You” for sharing
our wedding day with us.

In lieu of a traditional wedding favor,
we have made a donation in your honor
to the American Diabetes Association,
to help fight this disease and one day find a cure.

We feel the finest gift is one which helps
others, like the bride’s father,
live longer and healthier lives.

We just said something like thank you for sharing this special day with us. In lieu of favors we have made a donation to the American Cancer Soc in memory of XXX XXX (DHs dad) ....with our names and date

im donating to the cancer society and they have a wedding scroll program. they make up the scrolls for you and you give a donation. i am dealing with a girl in the garden city office... if you want, FM me and i will give you her name and number over at the cancer society
