I am trying to find photos of the different cake options for Jericho Terrace. We would like to customize ours, so I am trying to see what all the possibilities are for their choices
Thanks!

We didn't customize ours, this is one of JT's standard cakes. Usually it has flowers coming down one side but we asked them to take that out. So I guess we did customize a little. lol.

Maybe a stupid question, but is it extra to customize the cake like the previous posters have done?

Ladies... thank you for posting your cakes... I ADORE them all!!! That passed out bride and groom is hysterical by the way! Love the purple.. (my color)
I don't think its extra to customize the colors you want. I remember asking and he said that you can get the icing colors however you want.
As for the fondont I do not think that is included. I think you have to pay extra. The cakes above are not fondont

All those cakes are buttercream. It depends on what exactly you want to customize. Fondant is definitely extra. And it's depending on how intricate the design is that you're looking for if it's extra money.
Just a heads up- they don't make it easy. JT told me to speak to Dortoni's, Dortoni's told me to speak to JT. I didn't care all that much as long as it tasted good, so we went with something out of the book.
ETA: We did do a tasting at Dortoni's which was excellent. JT told us we couldn't do a tasting, but we called Dortoni's and they accommodated us no problem.

Thanks a ton for all this info! How far before your wedding did you set up the details with dortoni? I am a bit over 6 months to the wedding.. so I am sure I have plenty of time... but just curious how far in advance to start with the cake situation. Also.. did you happen to do a food tasting with JT?? I want to set that up eventhough we are already booked. We didn't do a tasting yet!

We set it up almost exactly 2 months before the wedding. When JT sent us the letter asking us to make an appointment to choose our menu/cake/etc., we made the appointment for Dortoni's for the same day. We went to Dortoni's then straight to JT.
We didn't do a food tasting at JT, but went to a few showcases and sampled the food there. HTH!

Re: Jericho Terrace cakes.. please post yours!
We got the fondant for free..That day they threw in 1 ice scultpure, 2 extra carvings and the fondant on the cake was free. I guess its because we brought in more people than we guaranteed (like 30 extra!!) They made my dream come true with this cake! I only found out the day of they had done the fondant I was soo thrilled!
I LOVE JT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The cake topper is from etsy vendor http://www.etsy.com/shop/BarbieHillDesigns
I got the vendor from Barbara (grkbarbie) and she was amazing!

FH and I went to a wedding at JT last year. I think I have a picture of their cake somewhere. I'll look when I get home from work.
