Went to GIORGIOS tonight - REVIEW

There was a fashion show at Giorgios for the local Lioness Club. I figured I should tell everyone what I though

Valet - I dont know if everyone came at once but there was a LINE of cars and people waiting to get 'parked'. It took about 5 minutes to get to the front of the line. Understandable I guess since there were a lot of people

Inside - BEAUTIFUL as always!! Love the chandeliers (sp?). Tables set beautifully.

Outside - For what I could see outside was nice. The bridge and waterfall was very pretty!!

Service - Ok... my one HUGE complaint. I dont know if they do things differently for weddings but we had salad which was... salad. Fine but they cleared the plates and started serving dinner...8PM, 8:15, 8:25, other peoples plates were being cleared and we still haden't been served!!!!!!!!!! They could have used about 10 more people... there were about 250 people there and like 5 waitstaff. 8:30 we get our food. Which was pretty good. I had prime rib, potatos, brocilli and carrots with pineapple.

Staff - Very hospitable. Whatever I asked for I received.

All in all it was a nice time, at a nice place... could have desired more from the service...

UNFAIR!!!I was there also and the service was greeat...they had like 13 waiters and alot of people would not sit for dinner there were other things going on at the time...I also notice your getting married at the vineyards...coincidence or just bashing???next time sit for main couse and you will see that It was hot , those people also rebooked for next year...I am going then too!!!

KPtoys is just giving her honest opinion. It is not bashing, as she pointed out the positives as well.
You are probably a little over sensitive because it's your hall, but you will always hear good and bad things. Learn to take it as constructive criticism, and these are things you can look out for.

I was at table 26 so i was served toward the end also, I think bieng fair is knowing what your speaking about...I have nothing personal against anybody.by the way that was a $23 a person party,pretty cheap and still good food and service...I don't want to drag this out i said my piece......

(By the way, I'm not sure if you saw my reply to you on my 'I'm an Imagine Bride' thread - but in case you didn't - Yes, I did see your e-pics! They're fantastic! You three make a beautiful family!! I even mentioned how great your pics are when we saw Lia!)

I don't think that I said that the food was cold or that it was bad!!! I was sitting at table 26 so I do think I am being fair about knowing what Im talking about!!!! The other side of the room got served first the side by the garden... I was sitting waiting for my meal the entire time! Yes, there were people walking around during dinner but that should not have stopped the waitstaff from delivering the meals. And yes, plates from the people across the room were being cleared LONG before we got served our dinner.

I will admit that I did not count the number of people serving but it could have been more for the amount of people that were there!!!!

And yes, I did book at the Vineyard but I did check out Giorgios. The Vineyard was willing to accommodate me more than Giorgios was but that is a different story all together.

ETA: Ive spoken to my mother who is a Lioness. She said the tickets were $37pp not $23 AND they have NOT rebooked for next year!!! Maybe you were at a different fashion show than I was...

Now if you have anything further to say about MY OPINION about the night of the fashion show or anything further to me I would appreciate that you FM me so we can keep this kind of BS off the boards

An opinion doesn't have to be fair because it's just that -- an opinion. kp gave her opinion, then suzie gave hers... that's all. There's no need to make a big deal out of it. Using the word 'bashing' was a little harsh...in MY opinion ...
