1) How the search engine works? Is it case sensitive? Does it correct mispelled screen-names etc?
2) the picture resizing. HOw come some people can post bigger pics while other people can't? If you scan it will it automatically upload? Does a digital camera make the images to big by default causing us digi-cam people to constantly resize? The resizing comes out so small it is so hard to see??????I want to post in my post cause i can't figure out the link to shutterfly.

Re: LIweddings
your camera has a setting that controls the size. It's called the resolution (similar to the resoluation of your desktop - if you know that, that is)
the bigger the sizer, the deeper the image appears (overall, the picture is bigger)
it's kinda hard to explain... hope this helps

Re: LIweddings
I always upload my pics to shutterfly. Its much easier than trying to resize them...I don't know think I ever successfully resized anything either...

Re: LIweddings
You have to try the different resolution settings on the resizer. If your pic comes from a digital camera, chances are the quality is better i.e. higher resolution. On the resizer you have two options:
If you keep the original resolution, the resizer has to compensate for the high quality of the image by shrinking it in dimensions in order for it to reach a size small enough to post (60kb). If you use the default resolution (don't know exactly what that is) it will usually come out bigger in dimensions but of a lesser quality (lower resolution).
If your pic is super high resolution, like 1024x768 or higher (and big, like close to a meg), your probably never going to get it down to 60kb without cropping it and changing the resolution manually in photoshop.
Hope that helps!!

Re: LIweddings
What I do is go into Microsoft Photo editor and resize the pic from my digitial camera to maybe 40%-50% percent of it's original size. It's still huge!
Just use your computer's photo editing program - most operating systems come with them. Or FM me and email me the pic and I'll do it.

Re: LIweddings
just keep in mind, when you incresase the photo on a picture taken at lower resoluation, once you enlarge it, it will become distorted and pixelated
always best to take pictures on bigger size

Re: LIweddings
MS Photo Editor is under All Programs/Microsoft Office Tools. We only have Word but we have it.
Your digicam might have also come with photo editing software. If you have a scanner it should definetely have.

I don't know what those are. Do you have your manual? Mine says Fine, Basic, Normal.

Re: LIweddings
I hope LI Weddings responds, because at times I search for a post that I KNOW exists, but it doesn't come up in a search. Sometimes I'll search by the screen name or something, and then I'll find it. It's frustrating.

Re: LIweddings
Try 40%. View at 100% (sometimes it gives you a smaller view)
