I have never been so upset in my life.

Where do i begin? On sunday i went to huntington town house to do the menu. When we first sign the contract last year, i decided to only offer 2 entrees because we are having a full coctail hour. On sunday i was told that i am only getting 1 entree, and another one on request, which means that i won't be able to put 2 choices on my menus. I hope i'm making sense, because i am so upset. Anyway Steven was the person i spoke with about this initially, and he denied everything. He called me a liar in front of my FI, and even used a curse word (bull****) which to me is very unproffesional. Its gets better. He had the nerve to tell me if i didn't want to pay the extra $ 5 a plate then i should have my wedding on a thursday. The nerve of that man to tell me to change my wedding date.

Yikes!! I guess the two-choice entree wasn't put on the contract? What are you going to do??

He shouldn't have spoken to you that way, regardless!!

There is no excuse for speaking to someone like that!

Is there someone that you can speak with that's above this Jack*Arse? I'd go to the General Manager 'Big Guy' and tell him the way you were treated.

wow how rude, does paying the 5 dollars get you an extra antree??? if thats the case then i would just do thats so you dont get yourself so upset.

that guy has some nerve, i would write a letter after the wedding!

I hope he gets something coming to him for treating you that way! Did your contract only say 1 dinner? I just rechecked mines and it does state the number of entrees. I've never heard of a place only serving one choice. Not even a buffet does that, they offer more than one. That sounds funny to me.

I would be on the phone with the GM the owner, help me howard, ask Asa, and whoever else, as well as typing up a scathing editorial in Newsday.

there is NO WAY on God's Green Earth that I would allow someone to do that to me...

the way he looks at it- this close to your wedding, what are you gonna do about...

oh yeah, you say...and SHOW him what your gonna do about it!

I can't believe he spoke to you that way. You should contact his manager or superviser ASAP. To think you spend so much money to be treated so unprofessionally.

I would check your original contract to see what it says, and then call his supervisor. There is no excuse for behavior like that!

Steven Silver is such a jerk! Hes another one that treats you all nice till he knows he has your $$..I cant believe he talked to you like that!

I know what stinks most is that he's the owners son! So theres not really much you can do in terms of his attitude. But you never know, maybe you can talk to his mother?!

I would definitely lok over you contract. On mine for the HTH I have a choice of 4 entrees plus a veg option and a kosher option so a total of 6 choices. I personally didn't deal much with Steven (Owner's Son). I would try and speak with Elliot (Steven's Dad) he did my initial contract and it had everything written down on it. Even if it isnt on your contract,,,are you telling me they cant add 1 more entree???

So if they dont add the 2nd entree,your guest dont get a choice???

What a jackhole. Absolutely get your contract in front of you, but even if it isn't specified on there there is no excuse for his behavior and his superior should know about it. Good luck!
