POLL: How much is your Fine China on your Registry?
I'm freaking out b/c I don't think anyone will buy my china - it's $109 per setting, and I don't know if I should change it to something cheaper.

I think that's a decent price for fine china, it's what I would expect to pay for a place setting.

Mine is $119. Register for what you like, but just realize you may need to finish the set yourself. I battled with this too, but there was no other that compared to the one we picked, I wouldn't be happy picking another pattern, so I just registered for the one we liked and will probably have to buy the rest ourselves.

Mine is $119 per setting. But my FH parents are buying us all the china, its a tradition in their family. I think it all depends on your family & friends, you know what they can and can't afford. Plus maybe a couple fo them will go in on a gift so that its more affordable.

Oh, I'm feeling so much better...how many did everyone register for?
I did 12 - is that excessive? Should I just order 10?
I figured we normally have seating for 10, but china breaks, so I wanted to have 2 extras.

Don't worry- my china is $139 and I registered for 12.
Some people won't think twice about the price, others will.
As long as you like it, I wouldn't change it.

I registered for 12, I have a big family and may go back afterwards and get a extra set just in case a piece breaks.

Don't worry, I did 14. Odd, I know...the guy who helped us at BB&B originally told us to do 15, so we did. But I felt wierd having an odd number so I knocked it down to 14. I think 12 may be small since we have a large family.

I think the norm is 12. That’s what we did.
Hey if you only end up getting 10 you can always buy the other 2 or not
BTW if you are registering at Fortunoffs, they automatically give you 10% anything that is left on your registry after your wedding.

Mine was $109 and I only got one place setting. Only you know your family best. I would ask another recent bride in your or your FHs family if possible, if they got most of their china. I should have known that my family wasn't going to be into buying the china.

Don't worry- my china is $139 and I registered for 12.

I wouldn't worry too much. That is what ours is and it seems to be an average price. Which pattern are you looking at?

i think mine was maybe a little more than that - but the registry is @ macy's - and everytime i see my china pattern it is on sale......

oh yeah - i wouldn't worry - i am registered for the Lenox Pearl Innocence - everythime i check the sale papers - its on sale again...
