I just scheduled a fitting with Phyllis to get a free estimation on alterations for my dress. It's not until the weekend after Memorial Day, but for those of you who have used her, what are the costs like? Besides the dress, should I bring anything else with me?

I don't remember how much I paid for alterations, but they were capped at $150 because I bought the dress from her.

take your shoes and undergarments (slip/crinoline/bra...)....you can take your veil and/or tiara/headpiece as well....but that's more for pics.

I am pretty sure that Janna used her for alterations and didn't buy the dress there.

I bought a Bridesmaid dress at Davids Bridal and had phyllis do the alterations!!! Perfect!!!! No worries!!!

Phylis quoted me $150 cap for my alterations, because I got all my BM dresses from her. I did not get my gown from her though.

Me!! She charged me about $150. See my review for my experience with her, though....
