You can do your hair and M/U differently if you want. If I was going to do it I think I'd leave it the same tho.

DH would have to rent another tux, again I'd try to make it the same one he wore that day.

It doesn't have to be the same season as your wedding. Or you could wait for your 1-year anniversary and do it then!

We'd love to do this and were talking about it this weekend, but the $$ is an issue for us.

if you liked them day-of, I would do the same. Sometimes brides want a different look for the after-shoot.

I would say yes.

that one, I haven't been able to figure out either.

me too. don't have time before the holidays.....then it's going to be winter. I was also a fall bride and would love fall foliage, but maybe it doesn't matter that much. I don't want to wait a year........but we'll probably wait til the spring.

to be honest, we were so happy with our proofs I would do this, but if you were unhappy with your proofs, its a nice way to re-live your memories!!

Hair and makeup you don't have to do it the same way

DH will have to rent a tux again

If you want the same season you can always wait till next fall and do it on your aniversary

IMO, if you want Fall leaf-filled pics, then wait until next year. If you want a change of scenery - indoor pics by a fireplace or with the snow outside (winter), a grassy or floral arboretum (spring), or a beach (summer) then do it in those seasons.

I got my makeup done, but decided not to wear my hair up again. I wanted my look to be totally different this time - no veil, no tiara, trendy earrings instead of studs....

My husband wore one of his black suits, and left his tie off to look more casual. I'd recommend to use a suit he already has, and If you like the look of the vest and tie, maybe rent those or buy just those two pieces.

sorry i confused you with my 'wonderful' grammar and dictation.

i think most of the replies have filled in the blanks, but here goes. i wanted to know how some issues were dealt with by the brides who had a 'day after' shoot.

hope i cleared that up.

i'm starting to think that we might do it for our anniversary because i want pics with fall leaves.

Maybe I sound ignorant, but unless you were really unhappy with your proofs why would you do a 'day after' shoot? Especially if its going to be a year later - then its really not the day after... at this point I would do some kind of shoot like an engagement shoot - not in your wedding gown, it just seems like it would be a farce to me - but thats just my opinion.

not ignorant at all. this is part of the reason i'm having issues with it. i like the way it looks. i'd like to have different pictures of dh and me. things were so rushed on our wedding day. that i'd like to re-do it so i can savor it.

at the same time, i've thought of everything you've mentioned.

who knows. something to think about.
