NEED HELP! I think I want to change my BM Dress sash color!!! (pics & poll inside)

Ok, so I'm having a total indecisive bride moment here .... and I need YOUR help to make the decision!

When I originally placed the order for BM dresses, I decided to go with the Euro Sable dress and a Euro Taupe Sash. I liked the colors of the fabric together from the swatches I saw in the store.

Here's the pic:





I got home and looked at the colors online on the designer's website, and the Euro Taupe looks a little GREEN (not the light gold color I saw in the store)

I decided to ignore it because maybe its just the online picture ....

BUT the more I think about it the more worried I am .... I don't want the sash to look GREENISH in my wedding pics! (if I wanted green, I would pick green ... BL has some pretty ones!)

SO ... now I'm thinkng about changing the color of the sash to champagne.




WHICH COLOR SASH DO YOU LIKE BEST?!!?!!!!!

Should I change the sash to champagne?!

I love them both, but the 2nd is definitely my favorite.

both are nice but #2 is more of a contrast, and the one i would pick

I am using a different Bill Levkoff style for my bridesmaids, but the same colors. sable with euro champagne for my bridesmaids, but my maid of honor will be wearing sable with euro taupe and my Jr. bridesmaid is wearing euro taupe with sable(reverse of MOH) Jr. BM is my daughter so I wanted her to look different. Its difficult to tell how the colors would look in the computer. You should go to the store and look at them in person. I actually think taupe is very nice in person, didnt look green. If you look in my album, the sample my BM is wearing is black with taupe, and my daughter is wearing a sample in champagne with taupe.

not to make things more difficult, but I wouldn't trust the online photo. Maybe post and ask brides on here if they've used that first color (the one you're afraid is green) in their weddings and see if they have photos. I find the photos on the BM dress sites really misleading esp. the ones that let you mix and match colors. good luck!

Everyones color monitor settings are slightly different, I wouldn't compare it to a photographers lens neccessarily....so you may have nothing to worry about!! Just go by what you felt when u saw it in person! :)

I actually like both......my BM dresses are the same (except in taffeta) and I originally wanted the sable with a taupe sash (but found the taupe to be too shiny looking in taffeta), I think they go well, but you do get more of a contrast with the sable & champagne, and for that reason that is what gets my vote!! I went with the same colors! don't feel bad about changing your mind, it happens......and if your BM's give you slack, they'll just have to deal with it!

I like the champaigne better, but remember when you are looking at colors on the computer, they can look very different than in real life. So if you loved your first choice in the store when you looked at the swatches, stick with that one.

PreshusSmurf ! how did you get pics of the dresses in different colors? I purchased bill levkoff dresses too and am curious see my colors.

I like the champagne alot better then the taupe. I think its a more neutral color and will just sit better then the taupe

I like the way that #2 looks but that is just from the computer picture. If you actually saw the swatches in the store and liked them then I would do what you originally picked. The only reason I think it is looking green is because of the computer. My girls are wearing cinnamon color dresses from David's bridal and the picture online looks NOTHING like the color it actually is. I say you should always go with your first choice!!!
