Dress Woes - Who Carries Plus Size Bonny Dresses?

Yeah so, 1.5 weeks until my wedding and my dress doesn't fit and my seamstress keeps canceling and pushing back our appts, which took me FOREVER just to book in the first place, you might recall. I'm so stressed out, every single day I want to cry over this stupid thing. And now my stomach hurts when I think about it

So i think I'll just buy another of the same dress in a bigger size and hope it fits fine (the old one, back when it DID fit, the only issue was the straps were too long). I'd much rather blow the money than deal with the stress of altering. I am scared spitless to leave my dress with ANYONE anyway.

So.... long story short, what bridal shops carry Bonny dresses? I'll need at least a 20W (hooray for dresses being sized way too small) and I'll have to buy it the same day I try it on, of course.

Any help would be appreciated! Any hope would be too LOL It seems like an impossible task

I am not sure about Bonny dresses but I bought mine at David's Bridal, in a plus size and took it home that day. If not, I have an amazing seamstress I can refer you to. She is located out in Shirley, but well worth the trip. I have referred her to other girls on here too !

call RK bridal in NYC -- ask them if they have the exact style number you are looking for -- it is a long shot, I'd try to find a seamstress ASAP. good luck!

The Wedding Plaza in Floral Park and RK Bridal in the city carry Bonny dresses.

Is tehre another seamstress you could go to?

I have an amazing seamstress in Wantagh if you want her number. She has worked on my dress and 2 other 08 brides' dresses in the last 2 months and works FAST. She works parttime at bridal reflections of mass. as a seamstress and has been doing it for years, so she is very qualified. I think it would be easier than buying a new dress!!!
