I was going to & decided not to at the last minute.

It can go before the ring exchange if you want.

You can have the priest or reader read it

I am doing it but I have to let you know tonight. I'm at work right now, so I'm not sure. It's either right after the vows or right after the rings, I can't remember. I let you know!

I totally love that passage but I opted out for it as well, because I know it would make me bawl like a baby! It's so beautiful, though. I think jennbaby is right, before the rings sounds appropriate.

Jenn, I asked my priest and he's never heard of it.. he will allow me to use it though..

his exact words were 'Marcella, all I need you to do is the following: you can do whatever you want, just please once you have your program ready, just get a copy to me a couple days before so I can read and practice it over before the wedding' lol

would anyone be kind enough to email me a template for one? but not formatting wise, I just don't know what order everything goes in..

I did it and it was beauuuu-ti-ful...so many people said how nice it was..I forget where we put in on the program, I think it was actually AFTER the rings/vows...I'll check my program when I get home.

is it inappropriate to have someone who has never been married to read the hands prayer????? Does it have to be someone who has been married for a long time????
