As you can see - I am absolutely bored and procrastinating from doing work - so I made of list of past and future NRC brides so we can all know where to get info, reviews, opinions and pictures from. Hope this helps everyone! I am sure I missed some past brides and some future brides - I'll still look for more though...
i spoke to christina last nite and made recservations for the tasting on april 28. i am so excied!!

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
What is the tasting going to be like on April 28th? Are they doing it specifically for their brides? Are they having a party that night?
As for the chairs, I was there when it was set up for a party and there seemed to be enough of the nice gold chairs to fill both rooms.

The tasting was so much fun! All the food was great! I wish I could go again - maybe as my wedding gets closer I'll try to get into another one...I think we are pretty much settled on the filet mignon with the shitake sauce, the tilapia w/ lobster sauce, and the chicken tuscany. Does the North Ritz have a bridal show coming up? What house vendors are all of you using? How are the limo companies?

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
I saw a couple of you asking about the cake they make at NRC. It is pretty simple, but I paid my florist 25.00 to decorate it and they did an amazing job rather then spending hundreds to get a prettier cake. The buttercream looks nicer then the whip cream , it holds up better.
NRC girls - does anyone know the new changes that they made in the lobby area??
i just talked to a florist and he said the piano is now by the staircase - i am supposed to take pictures there and i dont know how that is going to affect things....

I was there this past weekend, and the piano is in the cocktail room, far corner near the windows and deck area. Far left corner when you walk into the room.
Just ask them to move the piano to where you want it on your day, I'm sure they will.

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
When I was there it was in the cocktail hour room too. I was a little upset about it because I liked it in the lobby, but Ida told me that I could have it moved to wherever I wanted it for my day
They are really accommodating there!

It was in the cocktail room when I was there as well. She said brides are prefering to have it there so guests can hear the music(I guess it plays by itself?) The first time I was there it was in the lobby. They said they will put it where you want it.

It does play by itself - i've heard it *lol*
Its just that since we are taking pics in teh lobby area (its too cold outside in January - although we may try to take a few outside) i want to have as much room as possible there.

The last time I was there the piano was playing (by itself) and it was really out of tune. They assured me they planned to have it tuned soon. I plan to have a jazz trio for the cocktail hour - do you think they could put the piano downsatirs by the bathroom?

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
I am not sure - I think it might be just for brides. I had to call and make a reservation with the girl we booked with.
You can call and ask.
